Winter is approaching. You can feel her presence and last Saturday she gave us a surprise visit leaving 2 inches of snow across the beautiful Sierras. A high pressure system is in the forecast for the next couple of days so for the time being we'll enjoy the turning colors of the leaves and make sure our wood supply is stacked. The snow is on her way and winter will be here soon. Squaw is scheduled to open for winter operations on November 18th.* Will you be ready?
WHAT'S NEW Squaw? Squaw has been busy with its winter preparations. This year we are proud to offer a new, mid mountain Demo Center at Gold Coast. Guests can take advantage of the easy ski-in and ski-out facility centrally located at the middle of the mountain. What a great place to test out the latest and greatest in ski technology!
Guests will enjoy the continued grooming enhancements with the addition of new, state of the art grooming machines to its existing superior fleet. Terrain Park and Half Pipe lovers will be stoked on more than 30 new rails and boxes being added to Squaw's three extensive terrain parks. Fantastic fun creations ranging from 8 feet to 32 feet long!
