It's snowing.
There's some argument around about how much snow we're going to get out of this (some are using the word 'foot'), but there seems to be little argument that accompanying this natural snow are snowmaking temps as far as the forecast can see. Seems like a good combo to me.
Just a couple of quick reminders about one deadline date for two
products geared to get you here often this season.

THE mETICKET I like to call this product the answer. -- Adults can ski for as low as $49 per day (Juniors, Seniors and Young Adults for even less).
-- They're valid at all 7 American Skiing Company Resorts (Killington, Pico and Mount Snow in Vermont, Attitash in New Hampshire, Sugarloaf/USA and Sunday River in Maine as well as Steamboat in Colorado and The Canyons in Utah). -- You do have to commit to at least 6 days, but they don't have to be consecutive. -- After March 15, 2006 they become transferable - sharing is good.

There’s a tear in the cosmic sugar bag and powder is falling everywhere. That, together with grins and cheers, is the key ingredient in Mother Nature’s crème brulee. Not to worry, everyone who shows up today will get a king sized portion.
The snow on Rudy’s was just firm enough to let me make turns without feeling the bottom. The line at Storm Peak was already forming when I got on the first Burgess Creek chair, and before I knew it I was making figure eights down Rainbow with the only other set of tracks. Next I got on Storm Peak eager to see what the conditions would be on top. It was warmer today and the wind was coming from the south. There were a few rocks exposed under the chair, but the face and everything skiers’ left was loaded with snow. From there I glided over yesterday’s bumps on Hurricane, hardly noticing them, and continued doing laps on Storm Peak. I found fresh lines in Closets every run.

Jackson Hole
It's been snowing like crazy all week, and this morning there was over a foot of new powder awaiting us here at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. We look forward to commencing what promises to be a spectacular and memorable winter season. Tomorrow we open at 9am with Apres Vous and Teewinot, and we expect Casper to open around midday. The Dolomiti Classics are amongst the major events of the Alpine Ski World Cup. Ski resorts, organisers, athletes and guests are looking forward to these competitions in the Dolomites.
