Mammoth Mountain
Spring in Mammoth is such a great time of year. Not only can you still
come up and enjoy hitting the slopes out of Main Lodge, but temps are
warmer, the sun is out and the days are longer. This year, thanks to
some April storms, the snow is in great shape. It's firmer in the morning
and it's softening up into perfect spring corn as the temperatures warm
up.
Today we're expecting to operate seven lifts out of Main Lodge, that
includes Broadway Express, Stump Alley Express, Facelift Express,
Thunderbound, Discovery Chair and the Lower and Upper Panorama Gondola. This
weekend, weather & snow permitting we're expecting to add Chair 5 and
Chair 23 to that list.
The weather is supposed to be beautiful this weekend - so drop what
you're doing and head up to Mammoth to enjoy spring in the Sierra. Why not
see if you can ski and mountain bike in the same day? Mountain biking
trails are beginning to open up at lower elevations - Rock Creek is in
killer shape and the snow has mostly melted at Shady Rest Park.
