The Cheapskates Otago/Southland,Boarder-X, half pipe, and GS. The snow’s great compared to elsewhere, said Bonar Carson . We came up yesterday to ride the half pipe and slalom and now we’re competing. Sarah Smith from Mt Aspiring College was hoping to repeat her success of last year but unfortunately was beaten into third place. However she was upbeat about the day saying it was lots of fun and although competitive, everyone was just having a good time. The snow’s actually pretty good and the boarder-x course is real different compared to last year and is still good fun to ride. ****
