The bobsled and luge track openin time for a Nov. 1 opening in Park City. The ice will be one-half inch to two inches thick along the nearly mile-long track. After eight days of round-the-clock water spraying, the crew trades in their hoses for scrapers and shaping the ice.
U.S. Bobsled and Skeleton Federation ,the U.S. Luge Association will be training on the first day of operations. Public passenger bobsled rides on “The Comet” begin Dec. 13. Make your reservations for a bobsled ride beginning Nov. 1. IT IS Popular, make reserve early. Walk on rides are not always possible due to the popularity. The Olympic Park hosts a bobsled and skeleton America’s Cup on Nov. 12-18. 1-866-OLY-PARKS.
