Nine inches of new snow in the past 24 hours at Killington Peak and seven at the base. Jim Roemer "Dr. Weather" is predicting another storm for Wednesday night and Thursday with the potential of an additional 10-15 inches. That's 1-2 feet of new snow this week if predictions hold true.
We expanded to 20 trails and four lifts for Wednesday with the addition of Snowshed and another 10+ trails and nine lifts will be open this weekend. The world's largest snowmaking system is also running full-throttle to complement Mother Natures natural offering

Well, here we are, only two days until we open. This is the scoop: Miami Beach Chair and those associated runs will be open. The snowmakers are hoping for cold temps in the next two nights and working with the groomers who are moving snow, they will have Turnpike and Bobcat open as well. We will know for sure on Friday. Sorry, I cannot be more exact, but this recent stretch of warm temperatures has really taken its toll on the snow and snowmaking operations. I hope you can make it up this weekend, even with the limited terrain. Red Lodge Mountain
