With all these spring-like conditions for the slopes it feels as though it should be Easter and not Thanksgiving right around the corner. The conditions are great for November. Coverage is good and the weather has been gorgeous. Which is why we wanted to invite everyone up to the mountain to help us celebrate Thanksgiving.
Come and work up an appetite on the slopes then join us in the Bullwheel for a delicious Thanksgiving feast. The dinner includes slow roasted turkey breast served with homemade stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie for dessert. The dinner is $17.00 and starts at 5:30pm. Please contact the hostess stand for reservation (360) 663-3094.
The Express Bus starts next Saturday, November 26. It will run on Saturdays and Sundays and includes a full day pass for just $67. The bus leaves from both Seattle and Tacoma locations. For more information click here or to make reservations contact 1.800.665.2122.
We still cannot believe how lucky we have been with all the early snowfall for the season. Mother Nature sure has a way with Washington weather! So keep the dancing and the praying for snow parties up and hopefully we will have an unforgettable season ahead of us.

Canadian Freestyle Ski Association
2010 Legacies Now Announces Grants for BC Freestyle
2010 Legacies Now has announced significant financial support for the FIS Freestyle World Cup Finals at Apex Mountain and a Freestyle Canadian Series event at Cypress Mountain in 2006.
These grants are part of the BC Hosting Now initiative and they will have a real impact in making it possible to have both current and future Canadian Freestyle champions compete at home – and will bring the best freestyle skiers in the world to BC.
Peter Judge, CEO of the Canadian Freestyle Ski Association responded to the announcement as follows:
“On behalf of the Canadian Freestyle Ski Association, the BC Freestyle Ski Association, Apex Mountain and Cypress Mountain I wish to express our sincere gratitude for the event support being provided by the BC Hosting Now Grants to two of our major events. This support has assisted in bringing one of the pinnacle skiing events of the season, the FIS World Cup Finals in Freestyle Skiing, to the province of British Columbia. This will not only be an appropriate “home coming” for Canadian athletes after the Torino Games but will mark an important beginning of the new quadrennial as the world turns its attention to Canada and British Columbia. In a true demonstration of how sport and business can work together to create benefits for both, this event will create a significant world wide profile for the interior of BC and assist in forging a legacy training partnership between Apex Mountain and Freestyle Skiing ultimately creating a significant Canadian advantage for 2010....for both sport AND tourism. Just as importantly both events will provide important proving grounds to better prepare BC in hosting the world in just over four years by providing important experience for volunteers and officials.” Ski Canada
