2400 feet of Rocky Mountain vertical will entice any winter sports enthusiast to try the mountain once. But there’s something special that keeps bringing people back year after year – the Western Hospitality of the Town of Red Lodge. Nestled at the foot of the Beartooth Mountains, Red Lodge’s historic downtown features unique shops, restaurants and hotels, and offers a variety of family-oriented activities.

MAMMOTH IS OPEN! After much anticipation, our Big Day is finally here! First chair took off at 8:15 this morning. When will you hit the slopes?Mother Nature did her part in creating awesome conditions for Opening Day. A storm rolled in this week, dumping 11 inches of fresh snow on Mammoth Mountain. Snowmakers have worked hard doing their part as well. Broadway sits beautifully awaiting you with a 12 to 18 inch base of man-made and machine-groomed snow.Today we will operate Broadway Express with access to four trails: Broadway, Fascination, Far West and Powder Bowl. There will be limited rails and boxes available to skiers/riders right of Broadway.Come have a blast on the hill today and hang around for the weekend. Don't miss our Opening Celebration on Saturday, November 12. Forum Youngblood Rail Jam kicks off at 10:30 a.m. followed by Tungsten City Band taking the stage at 11:30. We will be starting the season off right with a ribbon cutting and champagne toast celebrating our new Broadway Marketplace. And come hungry for a free hot dog at 2 p.m. on the sundeck, while supplies last!Ski and ride with care - early season obstacles do exist!See you on the slopes!
