1. Holiday Season concerts

Sit back, close your eyes and listen to the wonderful sounds. Christmas concerts in Saastal are a treat for the senses. Music that will penetrate from the ear right into your heart. Go on! Cconduct your feeling in the right direction: 26th December in Saas-Grund, 27th December in Saas-Almagell and 29th December

2. Do you know how many candles are lit?
Candlelight lights up theses dark and cold nights. The light trail goes from Restaurant Schäferstube to the Weiler Hohnegg. When? Friday 23rd December from 9 p.m. Enjoy this contemplative and bright moment with a glass of mulled wine (Glühwein). And why not donate a bit of warmness elsewhere: see the donation campaign from Saas-Fee tourism.
3. Happy birthday mountain railways

We congratulate and are also taking part. The Saas-Almagell mountain railways are celebrating their 40th birthday. Guests will be treated to special birthday offers. All the more a chance to take in the magnificent view of the Mischabel-Kette and the Monte-Rosa Massiv (lofty mountains in the Saas-Fee region). You don't have to be a ski star to follow in the trails of the likes of well-known Swiss characters such as Pirmin, Heidi and Silvan Zurbriggen. Skipass for young and old available in a family-friendly ski region. Further information

4. Ski & Fun week

100% good-quality snow: meet new people, ski together and experience the night-life around you. In the Ski and Fun week from 14th to 21st January fun and sport will have equal priority. You will stay in well-chosen hotels or holiday apartments with a five day group skiing course (Monday to Friday) as well as evening/animation program included.

5. Ice and Sweat

The coldest temptation since ice first appeared! At the North Face Ice Climbing World-Cup (2nd to 4th February 2006) the worlds best ice climbers will be showing what they can do on a 30 metre high ice face in the Saas-Fee main parking lot. Definitely a spectacle where even the spectators will break into a sweat!
6. Freestyle-Parks

Go on! Treat yourself to some leisure time! From the end of January 2006 two new parks will raise the pace of action for all Freestylers. Go direct into the Mainpark Morenia with the Alpine Express. The new beginners park in Stafelwald is becoming a meeting point for Freestylers. Spectacular, fascinating, wild and crazy - that is Freestyle.
7. Swimming under a full moon

The moon is out - and everyone is going swimming. Use the energy of the moon and relax in the leisure centre Bielen, whether it be swimming, sauna or in the bubble-pool. There is a new full-moon swimming event with candlelight and a glass of champagne. So even if you're not a complete full-moon addict, take note of the following dates: 14. Januar 2006 und 13. Februar 2006.
