Treble Cone - New Zealand
Treble Cone goes bigger and better every winter. Last winter the new saddle quad chairlift transformed the Saddle Basin, proving enormously successful with skiers and snowboarders alike. This summer we’ve been working hard to make our groomed trails even wider and more comfortable plus we’ve expanded our snowmaking facilities to ensure you get on snow as early as possible this season! In the Saddle Basin, the new and improved Raffills Run & Pete’s Treat has also been widened up to 40m, with possibly the most scenic views on the mountain, now offering a more spacious and comfortable groomed 2km ski or ride to the bottom of the new Saddle Quad chairlift.

Season Passes now on sale
Treble Cone was awarded Winner of the 2005 NZ Ski Area Peoples Choice Award researched by Snow.co.nz late last year
The Treble Cone Race Academy is currently undergoing some exciting changes and we are busy recruiting highly qualified coaches for winter. We will continue to run our 14 week programme for the weekend crew and youth teams. However for FIS level athletes, we are working on some new 3, 4 and 5 week all inclusive camps to better cater for all our athletes needs
Choose your 2006 Season Pass according to how often you intend to ski/ride this season (see chart below for guideline). Whether you ski/ride in the weekends, holidays, powder days or all season long – there’s a Pass to suit everyone this winter at Treble Cone.

Sugarloaf
Whatever you're in the mood for, we probably have it here at Sugarloaf. In case you hadn't heard, we received more than a foot of snow late last week, and you can still find the stashes. And if you want more good news, there's more snow on the way this week. Roemers is calling for us to get possibly a couple inches by Wednesday and as much as six inches between Thursday and Sunday.
These great conditions aren't going anywhere soon. They'll only keep getting better as we head into March, which is historically our snowiest month. But it's not just the weather that will be active. We've got events planned all month, beginning with Wednesday, March 1, when comedian Tom Clark will take the stage in a free show at the Shipyard, and the Dead Sexies will rock the Widowmaker. The entire month of March will be loaded with great events. sugarloaf
