Sugarloaf
Cool nights and warm sunny days are what you need to get tons of the sugar sweet spring corn that Sugarloaf/USA is famous for.
Even under the brightest spring sunshine, our higher elevation keeps the snow at just the right temperature and consistency to ensure hero conditions all over the mountain. There really is nothing like great spring skiing to make you realize why you love this sport.
Of course, in addition to fantabulous conditions on the slopes, we've got two red hot events on consecutive weekends. This Saturday night, it's the Bud Light Rail Jam on The Landing and next weekend is the one-and-only 18th Annual Bud Light Reggae Festival.

Today’s Forecast: We’re expecting another mix of sun and cloud for the day. Winds up to 20 km/h southwest and a high near plus 4.
Extended Outlook: Saturday and Sunday… The models show the upper trough remaining just off the B.C. coast with a southerly upper flow over interior B.C. This will keep the main precipitation over coastal B.C. For the resort area this will give a mix of sun and cloud along with pleasantly mild daytime temperature readings. Can’t rule out a few flurries but they will likely be quite spotty.
Today’s Report:
Good morning! This is Jack Frost with the Sun Peaks Snow Report for Thursday March 30, 2006 @ 6:00am.
Last nights beautiful clear skies were great to look at but didn’t give us any new snow. The base is still weighing in at 178cm and there is still heaps of fun to be found up here on the mountain.
The temperature is currently -3C in the Village, at Mid-mountain -5C, and –7C at the Top of the World. The winds are light, and the sky is clear, the temperature is low and it looks like the start of a b-e-a-utiful day.
