Today’s Forecast: Cloudy with a few flurries. Afternoon sunny periods. Accumulation 2 to 4 centimetres. Extended Outlook: Saturday and Sunday ….cloud and scattered flurries. Monday brings more sunshine and less chance of flurries. Today’s Report: Well folks, this seems to be the season that just keeps on giving! We had 10cm of fresh snow at mid-mountain since closing yesterday. How cool is that?! Our base is now sitting at 165cm and it looks like this is going to be a GREAT closing weekend. The temperature is currently C in the Village, at Mid-mountain -C, and -C at the Top of the World. The winds are high, and the sky is overcast. The forecast for today is calling for cloud throughout the day, sunny periods this afternoon and flurries by this evening. All our major lifts are turning today, and the West Bowl T-bar will be open subject to weather conditions all weekend. We are a whopping 94% open, with an unprecedented 110 of our 117 runs waiting for you this late in the season. There’s only 4 days left folks, get out here while you still can! The cross-country network is open as well. Trails were groomed and track set yesterday. It’s time to get Retro again folks- that’s right it’s Todd Mountain days here for closing weekend! So set your time machine to the 70’s and dig up all your old gear and uniforms!! Bring on the neon!!!! Events not to miss this weekend are The Dummy Downhill 1pm Saturday, Slush Cup 1pm Sunday and the infamous Top to Bottoms Race to finish us off at the end of the season Monday afternoon!

Spring skiing continues here at Killington on fresh corn snow... Expect to shed a few layers and enjoy classic spring skiing and riding on the mountain this weekend. The forecast is calling for more sunshine, bluebird days, goggle tans and even a late season terrain park on Skyelark. Check back for updates on the goods in store for this park.

SPRING PARTY AND THE BEST SPRING SKIING IN THE ROCKIES
Calgary, AB – April 10, 2006 – Every spring, the biggest outdoor mountain party in the Canadian Rockies happens at Lake Louise Mountain Resort! This year’s Spring Episode 2006 will take place on April 29th and 30th, and will feature live music from hip hop and rap band Swollen Members, who will perform at the base of the mountain at 3pm on Saturday, April 29th.
Lake Louise Mountain Resort is already famous for its world-class spring skiing. Spring Episode ’06 will also feature DJs, Kokanee Beer Gardens – the biggest in the Canadian Rockies, the Appleton Sun Splash, on-mountain activities, and the infamous annual Splash Down, where skiers and riders plunge into a pool of icy Rocky Mountain water. Saturday’s activities will also feature a Shop Showdown. Local snowboard and ski shops from Fernie, to Calgary, to the Bow Valley will bring their best talent forward to compete.
