Ticket to Ride
The Burton Global Open Series is also part of the Ticket To Ride (TTR) World Snowboard Tour that gives points to riders based on their results at participating TTR competitions in order to crown a TTR World Champion. Created by world-renowned snowboarder and Burton Global Team rider Terje Haakonsen as an alternative way to rank riders, the 2006/2007 Tour is without question the largest culmination of independent freestyle snowboarding events under one common tour organization. Burton is stoked to support the TTR with the Global Opens, bringing five quality events and a tremendous cash purse to riders participating in the TTR. A resort where there is something for everyone, Chamonix is a wonderfull destination, whether during the winter season or summer.

90% of the ski areas are located above 2000 m, making Chamonix a « guaranteed-snow » resort. The ski terrain is divided into three areas all linked by an efficient shuttle bus service and a panoramic sightseeing train (free with Guest Card or Ski Pass). The world famous Grands Montets is considered the Mecca for skiers, snowboarders and freeriders but there are many different possibilities available for skiers of all levels throughout the resort.

Yong Pyong
Mt. Balwang's Deungsan Road, the trees appear as if they are almost human, living beings just like us. With so many specimens of trees in this mountain, you will probably find a tree that resembles you.
At the peak of Mt. Balwang, the first thing that you will notice is a Swiss-style building called Dragon Peak. Behind that lies the Sky Garden. Both of these structures have become another enjoyable theme of Mt. Balwang.
You will find a coffee shop with a traditional Swiss atmosphere. There is a Korean restaurant and a steak house on the first floor. On the second floor, you will find a western-style restaurant famous for their spaghetti. It is almost a requirement to enjoy a cup of coffee while you soak in the nature while youre here.
