A low pressure system off the central NSW coast will deepen before moving eastwards over the Tasman Sea on Wednesday. A cold front will move from the Southern Ocean to cross Victoria on Wednesday night, reinforcing the cold unstable southerly airflow over Victoria during Thursday. A strong high pressure system south of the Bight will move very slowly eastwards during this week, reaching Tasmania later on Friday.
Snowmaking is blasting with guns firing on Drover's Dream, Panorama, Main Street at Towers and in the village bowl.
The snowmakers and groomers are creating some great skiing and boarding on beginner and intermediate runs so its a great time to head to Falls to warm up those legs for winter
Today we have Falls Creek Express and Eagle Chair running for access to Sunvalley. We have Drovers Dream, Towers chairlift, Monkey Bar, Mouse trap and Boardwalk for good skiing for skiers and boarders

Innsbruck - The Winter Sports Capital, twice host to the Winter Olympics offers Old World history combined with some of the best ski mountains in the world capital. The city works hard to maintain and improve its twin character as a top-class ski area and sophisticated urban center. Innsbruck, with its striking location at the foot of the Alps, offers winter guests a tempting choice of great skiing and snowboarding in six different areas.

As the ultimate winter Olympic venue, Innsbruck has hosted the world famous event twice based on an excellent variety of terrain and an impeccable infrastructure for skiers and non-skiers. The nearby village of Igls boasts the legendary men's Olympic downhill run, and stunning views of a picturesque Innsbruck below.
Free shuttle bus service links the various ski areas, and the "Super Ski Pass" is the skier's key to 310 miles (500 kilometers) of ski-able terrain and 200 lifts. The pass also covers the Stubai glacier, and even gives holders the option of excursions to St. Anton and Arlberg and Kitzbuhel.
Innsbruck is a living treasure house of history. Once an imperial capital, it embraces 800-year-old traditions adding to the authentic charm and elegance of the place. The city also has world class shopping, fine restaurants, and many sights from the historic "Golden Roof" to the fascinating Alpine Zoo.
For all people longing for the genuine winter sports fun, the Stubai Glacier is the optimum oppurtunity! On more than 50 kilometres of ski runs they may take their chance not only on intensive downhill skiing, carving and boarding, but cross-country skiing can be practised wonderfully on the alpine trail of a length of 4,5 km. 21 installations, among 4 cabin lifts, 6 chair lifts, 9 ski tows and training lifts and 2 magic carpets offer ski fans a trendous winter sports resort, and active athletes from all over the world a maximum skiing pleasure at 1.750 to 3.200 m above the sea level.

The new six person chairlift Fernau links the Fernau to the Gaißkarferner mountain. Snowboard freaks can find ideal conditions at the newly created "Boarder´s paradise" including Quarterpipes, Spins, Table Tops, Pro Jumps and a - 100 metres long - halfpipe .

The adventurous and daring can be close to the "eternal ice" on the climber´s steps of the ice tower at Gamsgarten station, since this is an ideal training area for fans of climbing on ice. Every wednesday an introductory course climbing course takes place.
