On November 24 and 25, 2007, Panorama and the Columbia Valley will host Ladies Giant Slalom and Slalom races. This is a chance for you to see the world's best athletes on your mountain, and for the world to see that Canada's mountains are a real test for the best!
Volunteer for the Panorama World Cup. You'll be part of this world-class event and you'll earn credit towards participation in the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.

The season of the harvest comes to Sun Peaks Resort, from October 12 to 14, with the Autumn Bounty Festival. The Delta Sun Peaks Executive Chef, Ian Riddick, holds a special place for local, organic and sustainable foods and wines in his kitchen. Set against the backdrop of British Columbia’s second largest ski area and the picturesque village of Sun Peaks, the Icewine Festival celebrates glorious wine, beautiful food, and endless recreation options.

Back Country Cat Skiing / Snowboarding
Participants can expect to get 7 to 12 runs per tour depending on the skill level of the group. This is a full day adventure and includes a certified guide, lunch, and safety gear. No minimum age is required, but guests under the age of 19 wishing to participate must be accompanied by an adult. All participants must be at least a strong intermediate skier or boarder

International Fondue and Torchlight Descent Partake in one of Sun Peaks Resort’s signature events. Your evening begins with a trip up the chair to the Sunburst Restaurant. Upon arrival you will be treated with a delightful fondue accompanied by live music. The menu includes a variety of meats, seafood, breads, and vegetables to accompany the oil and cheese fondues. The meal is followed by a decadent chocolate fondue dessert with a selection of fresh fruits. After the meal you will then cruise down the torch lit slopes of the 5 Mile ski run. All participants must be at least 14 years of age, and comfortable skiing in the dark. This great activity takes place every Thursday night during the ski season beginning at 5:00pm till roughly 7:30pm. Advance reservations are required

Yellow will be Yellow no longer - not after new chairs (galvanized, not Yellow) are installed, the drive is replaced and the gear box rebuilt. It won't look, ride or operate like the old "Yellow" which was one of the original lifts. Got a name for the new lift? Get contest rules. The winning selection will receive a 10 Time Pass for the 40th anniversary season. (If an entry is submitted by more than one person, the first entry received will win the 10 Time Pass).
