Sugarloaf - Maine
Sugarloaf earned its title asEast Coast King of Spring in spectacular fashion this week, with eight inches of fresh powder on Wednesday morning, giving us yet another powder day in a season that's been filled with them. We're the only open resort in the east these days, and with excellent conditions out there, we'll be good to go straight through the weekend.

So head on up this weekend and grab those final turns of the season. We'll have barbecues and live music, not to mention the finest spring skiing in the east, and it's all yours for just $39. It's winter's last hurrah, so send it off in style here at the Loaf.

Eight inches on April 30
We all knew it was coming eventually. It just wouldn’t be April at Sugarloaf without at least one out-of-the-blue powder day. Route 27 hardly saw a flake, but, thanks to the wonders of elevation, mid mountain and higher was blanketed with eight inches of fluffy powder, and we had ourselves a powder day on the last day of April.

First ever Raft and Ski Weekend It's not too often that you get the chance to raft and ski in the same weekend, but with 224 inches of snow on the season, including 8 yesterday, that's just what we'll be doing this Saturday and Sunday here at the King of Spring. We've teamed up with our pals at Northern Outdoors to offer you the chance to raft the Dead River on Saturday, May 3 and then turn around and ski Sugarloaf on Sunday, May 4.
Get it while you can

Heavenly Valley - Ca
Heavenly Mountain Resort in Tahoe is open through this weekend. Tamarack, Comet, Dipper and Olympic chairs access 27 open trails, with a jib park on Cascade run.

Bob in Utah reports fresh pow at the Bird on May 1st. After a run into Mineral basin "The Devil" an buddies managed a traverse over to forest service land bordering on Alta.
A unexpected Foggy whiteout sent the crew over the Baldy shoulder for some "Good ole boy cliff Hunkin"
Unofficially named "Budda's Box Chutes" he says the fresh pow was as good as any mid winter dump
Congrats on the massive "Airborne "
