Innsbruck - The Winter Sports Capital, twice host to the Winter Olympics
offers Old World history combined with some of the best ski mountains in the world capital. The city works hard to maintain and improve its twin character as a top-class ski area and sophisticated urban center. Innsbruck, with its striking location at the foot of the Alps, offers winter guests a tempting choice of great skiing and snowboarding in six different areas.
As the ultimate winter Olympic venue, Innsbruck has hosted the world famous event twice based on an excellent variety of terrain and an impeccable infrastructure for skiers and non-skiers. The nearby village of Igls boasts the legendary men's Olympic downhill run, and stunning views of a picturesque Innsbruck below.

Free shuttle bus service links the various ski areas, and the "Super Ski Pass" is the skier's key to 310 miles (500 kilometers) of ski-able terrain and 200 lifts. The pass also covers the Stubai glacier, and even gives holders the option of excursions to St. Anton and Arlberg and Kitzbuhel.

For all people longing for the genuine winter sports fun, the Stubai Glacier is the optimum oppurtunity! On more than 50 kilometres of ski runs they may take their chance not only on intensive downhill skiing, carving and boarding, but cross-country skiing can be practised wonderfully on the alpine trail of a length of 4,5 km. 21 installations, among 4 cabin lifts, 6 chair lifts, 9 ski tows and training lifts and 2 magic carpets offer ski fans a trendous winter sports resort, and active athletes from all over the world a maximum skiing pleasure at 1.750 to 3.200 m above the sea level.
The new six person chairlift Fernau links the Fernau to the Gaißkarferner mountain. Snowboard freaks can find ideal conditions at the newly created "Boarder´s paradise" including Quarterpipes, Spins, Table Tops, Pro Jumps and a - 100 metres long - halfpipe . For carving fans there is a special run at Daunferner, regulated by a stoplight, where the feeling for bends can be experienced intensively. Two giant slalom runs and a high-speed run at Eisjochferner complete the offer for winter sports fans.
The adventurous and daring can be close to the "eternal ice" on the climber´s steps of the ice tower at Gamsgarten station, since this is an ideal training area for fans of climbing on ice. Every wednesday an introductory course climbing course takes place.
The Stubai Glacier funiculars pay a big deal of attention to the variety offered to the vacationer: starting at a professional gastronomic service, for example in the restaurant "zur Goldenen Gams" (the golden chamois), including dressing rooms and showers to sport shops with rental and storage options

SEASON PASSHOLDERS INSURANCE this is a friendly reminder to all season passholders about the season pass insurance to cover the cost of your season pass. The insurance is 6% of your season pass cost. Without insurance your season passes are not refundable under any circumstances. Insurance can be purchased at any time throughout the ski and snowboard season at the tram ticket office in The Hotel Alyeska or by visiting Season Pass Insurance.

Hakuba 47 Winter Sports Park is located in Hakuba Valley cascading down the apron of the Northern Japan Alps, the hottest skiing mecca of Japan which has more than 10 ski resorts nearby and over 200 runs. So that the alpine scenery from our resort and Hakuba Village is truly spectacular with huge rugged peaks towering to the sky, especially, Goryu Mountain and the Big three Hakuba Mountains, Hakuba Yarigatake, Hakuba Syakushidake, Shiroumadake. Shiroumadake, which means white horse, is the resort's signature peak rising to a lofty 2,932m (9,770 feet).
Hakuba 47 is interlinked with two other mountains, Hakuba Goryu and Iimori, and offer the great ski able area with 23 named runs together to delight skiers and snowboarders. It has one of the resorts' most notable intermediate cruising run, the longest season in Hakuba Village, some comfortable north-facing beginner slopes from which the wide-open landscape and other ski resorts in Hakuba Village can be seen, a huge moguls course, and a well-maintained half-pipe and snow park which has a variety of rails, jumps and waves.
Hakuba Goryu and Iimori on the South side of the mountain can also be reached from Hakuba47, offering beginners, intermediates and experts an even wider selection of runs to choose from.
