Old time jazz
From November 4-6, at the Congress Centre in Biel, the 35th International Old Time Jazz Meeting will take place with local jazz bands Bowler Hats, Dixie on Air and the famous Swiss Dixie Stompers. Full programme at www.jazzmeeting.ch
Emotion
Until November 13, Lucerne's Art Museum puts on a special exhibition of works completed between 1905-2005 by artists including Hodler, Henning, Emmenegger and Vallotton. The paintings focus on landscapes, human bodies and emotions. www.kunstmuseumluzern.ch
Leftovers
Until November 13, the Kunsthaus Zurich presents a solo exhibition by the Bulgarian conceptual artist Nedko Solakov called "Leftovers" – a selection of his unsold pieces from the private galleries with which he works.
