got snow ? News from The Steep, Deep & Extreme International Big Mountain Slopes
Crystal Mountain, WA- Over the last two days Crystal has received 20” of snow in Green Valley. The trees are white and even more importantly the ground is covered with snow! It is currently snowing an inch an hour and there is no sign of it letting up anytime soon. This early snowfall has Crystal employees very exciting and talking about a possible early opening! We are watching the weather closely and will open as soon as the snow permits. No opening date has been set as of now. Two Snowcats were parked at the summit yesterday waiting for just enough snow to go to work. This morning they are busy packing down the snow, creating a solid base for all the new snow to fall on.
