The temperature is currently -8C in the Village, at Mid-mountain -8C, and -10C at the Top of the World. The winds are light, and the sky is clear as a bell.
Today we are expecting a mix of sun and cloud, with a little more sun than cloud of course, it is going to be a beautiful day.
All our major lifts are turning today, and all 3 mountains are 100% open, leaving 117 runs ready and waiting for all you mountain eccentrics to come and enjoy.

Kitzbühel

21 March is the first day of spring, and Kitzbühel is already getting into the Sun and Fun skiing mood. The trails are in perfect condition, and the first warming rays of sunshine are turning the terraces of the ski huts into a sheer pleasure!
Even though spring is very much in the air, there is still more than enough snow. Up on the Hahnenkamm the white carpet is no less than one meter twenty deep! At the moment the weather gods are adding a few centimeters almost every night, so that skiers can enjoy dream conditions with sunshine and perfect powder the next morning.

And if you have had enough of the mountains by sundown- instead of skiing on an illuminated slope, you will find the less frosty evenings ideal for a serious tour of Kitzbühel's night life. Above all, a visit to the brand-new casino is a must.
As always, the beautiful city in the Alps has lots of new and exciting things to see and do at the moment. Don't miss March in Kitz!

U.S. SKI TEAM ENTERS WORLD CUP FINALS WITH THREE IN THE TOP 10 Miller, Rahlves and Ligety look to make history in Are
ARE, Sweden (March 14) - If the current standings hold up through the weekend, the U.S. Ski Team will mark the first time three U.S. men have finished in the top 10 overall in World Cup points. Defending overall champion Bode Miller (Bretton Woods, NH) is sixth heading into World Cup Finals, which begin Wednesday, with Daron Rahlves (Sugar Bowl, CA) seventh and Olympic combined champion Ted Ligety (Park City, UT) in ninth place.
There will be four races, starting with downhill and then super G before the tech races are held Friday and Saturday. The races begin Wednesday at 3:30 a.m. ET with the men racing first. For live results, go to http://www.ussa.org

Rahlves 3rd in lone training run Rahlves led U.S. men Tuesday, finishing third, in their lone downhill training run as World Cup Finals prepared to open. Lindsey Kildow (Vail, CO) led American women with a fourth-place result in their second training look at what will be the 2007 World Alpine Ski Championships venue.
Going into World Cup Finals, Miller has 748 points, Rahlves - who has won three downhills this season on far more demanding terrain - has 747 and Ligety has 600 points. Rahlves doesn’t race slalom, Ligety will skip the opening DH and Miller’s left knee, which has troubled him most of the winter, is creating painful problems. US Ski Team
