Mammoth Mountain
You have to love the weather in Mammoth! This past weekend I was riding in a t-shirt, it was 60 degree weather on the hill, and then literally two days later, I'm cruising around in 6 inches of fresh powder, bundled up in 20 degree weather with snow falling around me. Unreal! You think that spring is approaching and then we are shocked back into winter with another storm. Another storm system is headed this way next week with early estimates of at least a foot more snow! Ski Magazine said Mammoth is the Number One resort in North America for late season storms and skiing. The season is far from over so make your plans to come up now.

We have some early morning cloud cover at Main Lodge but that should lift as the day goes on giving way to lots of sunshine. Providing the cloud cover does lift and visibility improves higher on the Mountain, we should be able to open the top and the back, which has not been opened since the storm. Currently at Main Lodge the temperature is 24 degrees with cloudy skies and calm winds. By mid-day, we'll see temperatures into the high 30's.

We have a 4 to 6 foot base of powder, hard pack, and machine groomed snow. Snow conditions will vary around the Mountain. All lifts should be operating today with the exception of Chairs 7, 20, and 26. Lifts are wind and weather permitting so please check for updates.
Mammoth Gold for half the price! Mammoth Gold passes go on sale at half price on April 1st for a limited time. This will be Mammoth's only non-restricted low-price pass option available to the general public! MVP Pass renewal starts on April 1st as well. Visit
Main Lodge Temp : 27.2 degrees
Skies : partly cloudy
Winds : calm
Daytime Temps : high 30's

Base Depth : 4 - 6 feet
Don't miss the drop out chutes, wipe out chutes and dragons Back, gravy chute in early a.m.

Durango
Be prepared for anything today- temperatures stay comfortable, but the gortex is needed... Snow continues to accumulate throughout today on top of the new 6 inches that we've already received from this storm. Today's high temperature will reach 47 degrees- tonight's low is 21. Road Conditions: Open/Slushy/Plowed.

TODAY'S SAFETY TIP
You must not stop where you obstruct a trail, or are not visible from above. Know the code- it's your responsibility!

WASABI LIVE AT PURGY'S
Rock this weekend at Purgy's with Wasabi. Formed in 2002, Wasabi has become the rock and roll band to check out in Colorado, blending a mind swirling combination of rock and roll, blues and dance music. You'll dance, furiously. That's Wasabi, at Purgy's from 3-6 pm this Saturday and Sunday at Purgatory.
