Courchevel - France

Courchevel loves the cinema and proves it with the latest Cinéski Festival. Cinema-lovers have had their festival at Courchevel for four years now. Today, the public can enjoy, side by side with the professionals, four previews at the Cinéma du Villard at Courchevel 1650. Last year, over 800 spectators were able to preview films thanks to the festival. All you need to do to see a film is to pick up your invitation for two from the Courchevel Tourisme offices.
For the producers, this provides the opportunity to test their film before its official release.
This year the programme includes: "Ensemble c’est tout" (Hunting and Gathering) by Claude Berry with Guillaume Canet and Audrey Tautou, "The Namesake" (Un nom pour un autre) by Mira Nair, "Goodbye Bafana" by Bille August and finally "Le prix à payer" by Alexandra Leclère with Christian Clavier and Nathalie Baye.
So see all you cinema-goers from March 15th to 18th at Courchevel

The second Columbia Ride Week will be counting two extra international teams.

Ten teams from all four corners of the world will be getting ready to join battle from March 11th to 16th on the Courchevel ski area.

Who will take over from the Japanese as prize-winners of this competition? This year, the ladies look well set to make their presence felt with a German/Swiss team. But the team of Manu Gaidet, three-times world freeride champion, and that of Polo de le Rue, boardercross gold-medallist in the 2006 Olympic Games will also have to be reckoned with.
