Summer is drawing to a close and it's time to think of the early snows - and of your skiing holidays!
For the forthcoming winter season Cortina d'Ampezzo is getting ready, with great ideas for ski lovers and not only them. In this period though, we have devoted our attention to skiers particularly, make available to them a practical sheet almost a guide that summarises all the useful information for organising a skiing holiday to Cortina.
SNOW GUARANTEE AND FUN ASSURED
Saying "snow" is not enough: during the last winter season many European ski resorts remained closed for a long time due to a lack of snow. The Cortina d'Ampezzo ski slopes instead offered excellent skiing conditions even with the relatively low natural snow coverage. Indeed Cortina was Italys only resort to keep its slopes open from 3 December until 25 April!
Everything was made possible also thanks to the artificial snow making systems which, by serving some 90% of the slopes, guarantee your skiing fun. Plus, in Cortina 90% of the slopes are found between 1,500 and 2,900 metres, with ideal snowing conditions. The maintenance of the ski runs takes place daily and with great care. Every night, our snowcats work tirelessly until the slopes are groomed to perfection for the next days enjoyment.
So, see you soon for super skiing enjoyment in Cortina d'Ampezzo!
