Good weather for the Downhill
The weather forecast for the Downhill tomorrow looks promising. In the second half of the night the clouds break up and until the start of the race there will temporarily be sunny interludes. Nothing stands in the way of the Hahnenkamm Downhill.
Klaus Kröll wins the Super G in Kitzbühel
Aksel Lund Svindal and Ambrosi Hoffmann took second and third place
With a time of 1:12.78 Austrian Klaus Kröll won the first Race of this year’s Hahnenkamm weekend.
After incurring an injury in the Wengen race he showed, that he is again a candidate for a win. Only 22 hundredths behind Kröll, Norwegian Aksel Lund Svindal took second place. The third place on the podium was for Ambrosi Hoffmann of Switzerland. In the end Svindal was 0.17 seconds ahead of the Swiss athlete. Didier Cuche finished fourth
