Sugarloaf
The snow is in great shape. Today was beautiful - soft snow, miles of corduroy, not even a hint of wind and some unexpected but welcome sunshine to take off that January chill. We're scheduled to open 84 trails tomorrow, and we'll have nine lifts running, including Timberline.

Snowmaking is now on-line on White Nitro, and they'll stay there as long as they can. Snowmakers are also still blowing snow in the new park, so we should see that start to take shape soon.

Today's White White World Week events are a hot dog eating contest at the Shipyard for apres ski and a Roaring 20s party at The Bag & Kettle. Tomorrow is the Hill Billy HoeDown at the Shipyard.

John Hiatt
CARRABASSETT VALLEY, Maine- John Hiatt, one of the most celebrated songwriters alive, will make his only New England winter concert appearance at Sugarloaf/USA on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007. This solo acoustic performance is the February installment of the Bud Light Concert Series that brings nationally renowned performers to Sugarloaf monthly throughout the winter season.
