Sun Peaks Resort
Rossignol Girl's Day Out February 9th and 10th
----------------------------------------------
It is time for the boys to stay home, while the girls hit the mountain for a fabulous weekend on the slopes. Girl's Day Out is taking place at Sun Peaks Resort on February 9 and 10.

It';s all about empowering women to push their limits within a sport they love, but it’s also about taking that feeling and applying it to your everyday life,” says Lisa Sohni, Communications Manager with Tourism Sun Peaks.

The 2 day camp for women ages 14 to 50, includes ski workshops, guest motivational speakers, coaching, lunches, and shopping.

Rossignol will be on site with their latest equipment for skiers to demo. Plus, a professional photographer will capture the whole weekend on film, to help girls start a ski portfolio, or add to an existing one.

Girls Day Out is $95.00 for the two day camp (does not include lift tickets), and interested women can register at www.girlsdoski.com ( http://www.girlsdoski.com/ ). This is a great opportunity for women to sharpen their skills in a unique and supportive environment.

Snow Japan
NISEKO NOW! (Niseko, Hokkaido)
The snow has really firmed up over the last couple of days and today looks like it wont be much different...

FURANO NOW! (Furano, Hokkaido)
Snow continued to fall yesterday afternoon which left another 8cm in the village, and a light top up over night

HAKUBA NOW! (Hakuba, Nagano)

YUZAWA
Although Yuzawa town is only around 77 minutes by bullet train from Tokyo, it feels like another country. Situated 200km away from the hustle and bustle of the metropolis, Yuzawa is nestled in the Japan alps, and offers clean air and beautiful mountainous surroundings.

NISEKO
Niseko, a resort that is fast becoming well-known with skiers and snowboarders throughout the world.
Niseko continues to grow at a fast pace and each year sees a larger percentage of foreigners (meaning non-Japanese!) on the slopes. Expect to have no language problems if you are making your way to Niseko
