Innsbruck
After just under 6 years, the popular Muttereralm family ski area reopened with a new sparkle, new ideas and under new management. New runs and new lifts
The new Muttereralm cable-car lift (8-person cabins) starts above the village of Mutters and rises from an altitude of 950m to a midway station (with access) and then on to the mountain station at 1600m.
Starting just beneath the cable-car mountain station is the new 4-seater chair lift up to the 1800m Pfriemesköpfl. This lift will open up other pistes, such as the magnificent Götzner descent down to Götzens – a really enjoyable downhill for the whole family.
For winter 2005/06 you will have to take the half-hourly skibus back from Götzens, after that, however, there will be two chair lifts to enable a return from the Götzner downhill back to the Muttereralm ski area.
The approx. 12 kilometres of piste are ideal for beginners, advanced skiers, families with children and ski instruction. Good skiers, ski tourers and snowshoe walkers will also feel very much at ease in this sunny and snow-assured area (partly artificial snow).

Val Gardina Italy
During winter a fairy-tale scenery in white.
In the summer, a unique variety of nature's beauty.
In every season, the world of the Dolomites demonstrates its particular charm in an impressive beauty.
The towns of Ortisei, S. Cristina and Selva Gardena (in all only 6 miles distance) not only offer beautiful nature, but also a wide variety of art and culture.
Ortisei 1236 m, S. Cristina 1428 m and Selva Gardena 1563 m,
is situated at a height of 1200 to 1700 meters above sea level. The alpine meadows and ski pistes rise up to 2518 m and the mountain peaks up to 3181 m.
S. Cristina lies on the sunny side of the Val Gardena, in front of the Sassolungo, at an altitude of 1,428 m above sea level. It is a pleasant location in both winter and summer, and it offers easy access to all ski slopes, being at the base of the Monte Pana, Ciampinoi, Col Raiser and Seceda lifts. S. Cristina's special vitality may be felt either in its square and most modern and friendly hotels or in the solitary farms of "Plesdinaz".
