Stowe Mountain Resort received up to 2 feet of snow this past weekend, energizing early season operations and opening 80% of Stowe’s vast mountain terrain. The infamous Front Four (Starr, Goat, National and Lift Line) are arguably the most exciting runs in the East. Plenty of turns along the edges all the way down in billowy bumps. Back up T-Head and down the sweet 'roy on Heavenly Daze. By now, I needed to head inside for some warm air and warm drink. Now I'm gonna go back out and head for the top to check things out up there. Here's the latest word; Sundown Express is scheduled to open again on Saturday as is Sunshine meaning Wally World, i.e. Tomahawk, Flintlock, et al., will be open.
