The 8 a.m. temperature at the Main Lodge was 46 degrees and there is an expected high of 56 degrees today with sunny skies and light winds. The warmer temperatures in the last few days have prevented snow making from taking place, but the snowmaking crews are standing by and ready to make snow as soon as temperatures permit.

Broadway Express will be open from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. servicing Broadway trail. There is an 8-14 inch base of freshly groomed snow. Check out the special jib section with a selection of boxes, barrels, and lift poles.

Jay Peak
WELCOME TO OPENING WEEKEND And in true Jay Peak form we're doing it with 16"+ of new snow. We picked up 4-6" Thursday and another 6-10" throughout the day yesterday. Forecasts are calling for flurries today so be sure to check the Snow Report for updated totals. Temps will be 18-22ºF at the summit today and 28-32ºF at the base. Looks like it'll be pretty much the same tomorrow with sunny skies.

We'll open today with the Jet Triple turning from 9am to 4pm accessing the Jet trail (advanced intermediate/expert terrain only) and conditions should be pretty phenomenal for opening day given the snow we've got over the past couple of days. We'll be making snow on the Haynes & Chalet Meadows today and hope to get them open for tomorrow. Lift tickets will be sold out of the Stateside Ticket booth - $40 for Adults, $25 for Juniors

Red Lodge Mountain Resort
Mother Nature has decided to extend our fall season here at Red Lodge Mountain Resort with some unusually warm temperatures. Unfortunately, due to this, we have had to delay our opening until December 1. Our Snowmakers will continue to work around the clock to ensure the base will be ready. It looks like we are going to get some snow and some really cold temperatures late next week so they will be able to lay down a good base for us! Be sure to make plans to join us on December 1st for our VIP (very important passholders) Appreciation Party at Midway. From 11am to 2pm we will have free food, live Music from Red Lodge Musicians Double EE and drink specials! The Bierstube will also have live music from 2-6 from Billings folk band Earthshine. We hope to see you all on the slopes getting your first turns in of the season! Remember, THINK SNOW redlodgemountain.com

LAKE LOUISE MOUNTAIN RESORT GETTING MORE SNOW

The mountaintop has received 71cm (27 inches) to date, with 38cm (15 inches) in the past 7 days, and 8cm (3 inches) in the past 24 hours. At mid-mountain, there has been 64cm (25 inches) of snow to date this season, with 30cm (12 inches) in the past 7 days and 7 cm (3 inches)

Terrain access is currently limited to the main Wiwaxy run from the top of the Glacier Chair. However, snow fencing/farming efforts and ongoing snowmaking are providing a positive outlook for additional terrain openings in the near future. Skiers and riders are advised that early season conditions do exist, and to ski and ride with care.

Lake Louise Mountain Resort is getting ready to host the world with the Lake Louise Winterstart World Cup, presented by Bombardier. The Men’s Events will take place on November 24 and 25, and the Women’s Races will take place December 1 and 2. Come out and cheer on the world!
