You don't have to wait to long for your first ski day in Cortina. The skiing season is going to start on Saturday 17th November.
Opening lifts and slopes:
"Faloria" cablecar and "Vitelli" chairlift serving the "Tondi" slope at Mount Faloria.
"Cinque Torri" chairlift and slope at the Cinque Torri.
The first run (up hill) will be at 8.30 am, with the possibility to ski till 4.00 pm(last run).
You can purchase the Skipass directly at the cablecar and chairlift station at the following prices:

Kirkwood - Ca
Last weekend's winter storms brought another half foot of snow to the slopes at Kirkwood. In addition to Mother Nature's offerings, cold overnight temperatures have enabled the resort to begin snowmaking efforts of its own.
Kirkwood Mountain Resort will be attending two area ski shows this upcoming weekend with resort representatives on hand with plenty of giveaways at both venues. Known as the Area's Largest Ski Expo, the Sacramento Ski & Snowboard Show will be taking place Nov. 17th and 18th at the CalExpo Center. In addition, Kirkwood will be headed to the Bobofest in Reno on Nov. 17th

As the flakes begin to fall and the man-made snow gets blown into TELUS Park at Big White, our intrepid staff of ski show travellers are returning to the Okanagan after 2 months on the road. This week, our tent will be set up at the screening of Warren Miller's movie at the Kelowna Community Theatre on Friday night, along with dates in Yakima, Richland, Spokane, and Seattle. We'll also be at the Spokane Ski Show, talking about what's new and exciting at both resorts for skiers and riders from the Inland Empire!

The first dusting of snow has already landed atop Steamboat Ski Area’s Sunshine Peak. With the 2007/2008 season opening on November 21st, Steamboat is ramping up for another unforgettable winter!
Crews with Leitner-Poma of America used a special twin-engine, heavy-lifting helicopter to lift and set 19 towers for the new Christie Peak Express high-speed six-passenger chairlift, on Friday, September 21, 2007.
