Bob notes this is not your hallmark mid winter Utah powder but more like pancake batter, sierra cement, elmers glue, wet and heavy.
The good news is that overnight temps are freezing long enough to allow for a overnight set.

Sincere Thanks to Laura the Communications officier of Snowbird.
If it was going on at The Bird I felt I was getting the "Locals' scoop" all season long

Get it while you can ! This is the final weekend of Winter opperations at Snowbird. You can purchase a Summer pass, Ride the tram to access select terrain & hike out. Snowbird’s Aerial tram whisks passengers along a 1.6 mile cable and up 2900 vertical feet during the 10 minute trip to the top of Hidden Peak.

Red lines are suggestions. These suggestions are NOT condoned, endorsed or the official view point of Snowbird or Snowbird Ski Patrol.

Tram riders can look up canyon toward Alta and down into the Salt Lake Valley below while passing over thousands of wildflowers and mountainsides of green. There is no more spectacular vista in the Rockies than the view from atop Hidden Peak. And certainly not one that is so easily accessible!

Cathedral- Argentina
With more snow, Cathedral waits for the opening this weekend.30 centimeters of snow on the summit and about 5 in the base. It is that the last precipitations, accumulated more snow in the tracks and is all preparation for the starting of the season. In addition, during the night of Monday and the dawn of Tuesday, the flakes continued being accumulated and the landscape in the mountain, already is a typical postcard of total winter. The prognose,... more snowed for the next days. Cathedral commemorates it's 70 anniversary, remembering to the old pioneers who forged the history of the Argentine ski. As if all this outside little, Cathedral releases its access route: to the already well-known route, repavimentó, was placed signaling and is in perfect conditions. By all this, Bariloche and Cathedral begin to beat another successful winter season.

Chilean Andes, Not a place you'd want to chain up you car
