With over 300 inches of snowfall this season (including 6-9" of new snow this week), on top of a base created from extensive and improved snowmaking systems, our spring snow surface is going strong.
That’s why Stowe’s Spring Summit Celebration cannot be contained to just one weekend, or even two. Its four weekends of fun, sun and snow revolving around both action-packed and laid back events on the mountain.

Red Mountain Lodge
Unfortunately the National Weather Service blew this one, and we only got half an inch to an inch of new snow last night. So much for that big April snowstorm. Due to the unstable snowpack, the Ski Patrol has temporarily closed trails that aren't groomed or don't have snowmaking on them. They will reevaluate these trail closings on Friday morning, to see if the snowpack has stabilized.

LIFTS OPERATING 5 of 8: Triple Chair reopens after noon, Miami Beach, Willow Creek, Cole Creek Quad, Grizzly Peak & the Mighty Mite.
