Pond Skimming Competition
Welcome to Spring at Stowe Mountain Resort!
April in Stowe means the East's best spring skiing & riding. Join us for mild days on one of the deepest snowpacks in the east. With over 300 inches of snowfall this season (including 6-9" of new snow this week), on top of a base created from extensive and improved snowmaking systems, our spring snow surface is going strong.
That’s why Stowe’s Spring Summit Celebration cannot be contained to just one weekend, or even two. Its four weekends of fun, sun and snow revolving around both action-packed and laid back events on the mountain.
Stowe Halfpipe Jammy
From Noon-2PM, Stowe Halfpipe Jam will be an event the entire family can join. You don’t have to be an expert to take a run through the pipe. Stop by, grab a raffle ticket and drop in. No registration, no competition. The event is free and open to all with a lift ticket or pass. We’ll be jamming out to tunes, cheering everyone on, and giving away great prizes after the event. Everyone participating will take home a t-shirt.
Boarding for Breast Cancer

Register in the Mansfield Base Lodge beginning at 9AM. Event begins at 11AM. A lift ticket or pass is also required to participate. For more information on Boarding for Breast Cancer and their mission, please visit www.b4bc.com.

65th Annual Sugar Slalom
The oldest and most esteemed race in the US. Participants race down historic Nosedive & then enjoy the traditional treat of sugar on snow at the finish. Please note: This event is NOT open to the public to race in. To see if you qualify, click here to contact the Mount Mansfield Ski Club.
With base depths still averaging 25-39" on 39 trails, and more snow in the forecasts, it should be another great weekend to be at the Ski Capital of the East! We hope you can come up and join us!

Unfortunately the National Weather Service blew this one, and we only got half an inch to an inch of new snow last night. So much for that big April snowstorm. Due to the unstable snowpack, the Ski Patrol has temporarily closed trails that aren't groomed or don't have snowmaking on them. They will reevaluate these trail closings on Friday morning, to see if the snowpack has stabilized.
5 of 8: Triple Chair reopens after noon, Miami Beach, Willow Creek, Cole Creek Quad, Grizzly Peak & the Mighty Mite.
