Nearby & note worthy,..... work continues on a Project I refer to as White Wolf - Troy Caldwell returns to work on the towers, structural and related tasks to complete a lift up the back side of Squaw Valley's Kt-22 from the neighboring Alpine Meadows side of the peak from his private property.
The lift begins from the Caldwell property on Alta Visa drive a few hundred yards from the property boundary to Alpine Meadows. The unloading station cement foundation can been easily seen from the patrol shack on top of Kt-22, those skiing down the Saddle ridge on the Squaw Valley side.
When finished, based on my personal observation, the terrain will serve advanced and Expert skiers and riders.Due to permits, regulations etc....all that formal documentation, access at this time "may" be limited to the final amount of parking spaces and other factors.
I can not confirm the involved details, As I understand, the over-simplified conclusion was a result of a parcel of land beloning to one party being traded, and as part of that exchange a vetran "Headwall" chair from Squaw Valley, so the story goes..
Still my dream,.... someday a long time down the road, IF,..... would be a step in ( nearly )linking the Killer Terrain of Squaw Valley's KT-22 with the Alpine Meadows.
