Instead of firming things up, the sleet we got this morning actually piled up niceley, a few inches deep, giving us some great surface conditions on lots of terrain, including Scoot, Tote Road, Whiffletree, Sluice, and King's Landing. Look for the majority of our terrain to be tilled out by tomorrow morning, including Haulback for the first time this season. Snowmakers will be back at it again tomorrow as soon as temps and humidity drop back down, and the plan is to hit Widowmaker, Tohaul, Whiffletree, Narrow Gauge, and Competition Hill with a dose of the fresh stuff. A new year and a new month naturally mean new events, and we've got lots of em coming right up, starting with College Snowfest tomorrow through Jan 5. Come on up for a week long party including nightly entertainment, food and drink specials, and $35 lift tickets with a valid college ID. Jan. 8-12 is Children's Festival here at Sugarloaf, and kids age 4-12 ski for free when you stay for three or more midweek nights from Jan. 7-11. Then it's the Charity Summit, White White World Week, the Bud Light Concert Series (Strangefolk and The Samples), and more. For more information, check out our calendar. http://www.sugarloaf.com/ ***
